Breakthrough Thyroid Care for Frustrated Thyroid Patients!
Menopause and Thyroid Health

Do you know that estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone imbalances cause two
of the seven types of thyroid dysfunction
that I covered in my Thyroid Basics info?

I know that menopause is virtually considered a disease in our modern culture, but you know
better, right?  It is a transition…and it CAN be a delightful transition…if you care for the needs
of your organs and glands.

The transition involves a “retirement” of the ovaries and a shift to depend more on the adrenal
glands for production of these hormones, with the pituitary gland being the master gland and
orchestrator of this transition.

Two problems leave the Thyroid vulnerable.

Number one is heightened stress physiology.
I use that terminology, because it is more
of a cascade of stress chemicals and hormones…and the effect of this “stress physiology” is
that the pituitary calls for testosterone!  You might notice some growth of chin or lip hair, that
isn’t consistent with women.

Number two is adrenal fatigue.  This is where inadequate or low adrenal hormone
production results in low progesterone, and the typical signs of dysfunctional menopause…
hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and weakening bones (which you don’t feel, of course, until your
hip breaks!).

And both shifts suppress thyroid function!

The first pattern is evidenced by a LOW TSH…not a high value as in typical medical
hypothyroidism.

The second pattern is evidenced by a LOW T3Uptake…which isn’t even considered in medical
evaluation of thyroid symptoms.

The first pattern needs calming and regulating plants and nutrients.

The second pattern needs stimulating and healing plants and nutrients.

No, there is not a one size fits all supplement that I know of.  Even if you narrow down your
NEED to pattern one, it may respond to lemon balm, or something else.  (I do use a fair bit of
lemon balm with my thyroid patients, though!)

We use kinesiology…muscle testing…to identify the correct nutrients and plants that will
increase strength…which almost always means increased health.

The other option is to pick one (or two) and take it for 3-4 weeks…to notice the result.  In my
experience, the probability of a GOOD result is multiplied by many times by first seeing how
your nervous system responds.

We can cut through months, even years of failed trials, by just testing your muscle response to
each medicine.
